The car air conditioner water valve, also known as the heater control valve or coolant control valve, is responsible for controlling the flow of coolant or water through the heater core of the car's HVAC system.

During the winter season, the valve controls the flow of hot coolant through the heater core, which then heats up the air that is blown into the cabin, providing warmth to the passengers. In the summer season, the valve controls the flow of cold water or coolant through the heater core.
