According to the structure, HVAC can be divided into single-zone air conditioners and multi-zone air conditioners. Single-zone air-conditioning means that the interior environment of the car can only be adjusted as a whole, such as the Pentium B50 model; while multi-zone can divide the cockpit into the main driving area, the co-pilot area, the rear left passenger area, and the rear passenger area. Multi-zone includes Zone 2, which refers to the main and co-pilot sections, such as Mazda-Raywing:
Zone 3 refers to taking the entire rear passenger compartment as a whole except for the main and co-pilot sections, such as Toyota Prado;
Zone 4 refers to the main and co-pilot sections, as well as the rear left and right passenger sections, such as the red flag inspection car.
