What has the Coronavirus taught us? 2020-04-25

Death does not separate tribes, religions, nationalities or political beliefs. No religion in the world has saved a single patient from coronavirus. The planet continues to thrive even without humans. America is no longer the most powerful state on the planet. Europeans do not have as much education as they want to be proud of. Oil is useless in a non-moving society. Politicians will always divide the people for their own personal interest. "Preventing"saves more lives than taking steps late. Health/PhD scientists deserve morethan soccer players. Asking for a better public health system is notunreasonable and anachronistic.

People who do not have knowledge speak more than those who know. As is well known, an empty tin makes more noise than a fullone. Social networks bring us closer, but they also spread panic more easily. Most of today's kids do not know how to have fun without internet or TV. Not all wealthy businessmen are cold-blooded, nor are all "philanthropist fighters" pure and good-natured. Some entrepreneurs have been volunteering a lot in the country for years, and some so-called philanthropists do not support society even when they die. In the last, now we understand how animals feel in the cages of zoos.

In addition I also observed strange things which I will never forget in life. Some of these things are as follows: Petrol prices at record low. Schools suspended/ cancelled and kids promoted without any exams. Prisoners released without bail. Self-distancing measures and tape on the floors at shops to keep distance (6ft) from each other. Limited number of people inside shops, therefore, line ups outside the doors. Non-essential shops & businesses, malls, theatres, restaurants are closed. Entire sports seasons cancelled. Concerts, tours, festivals, entertainment events -cancelled. Weddings, family celebrations, holiday gatherings - cancelled. Mosques and temples are closed and graveyards are shut. Don't socialize with anyone except online.

Children's outdoor play parks are closed. Shortage of masks, gowns, gloves for our front-line workers. Shortage of ventilators for the critically ill. All non-essential travel banned. Fines and jail time established for breaking the rules. Police is patrolling the streets. Most cities under lockdown to prevent over flow of Covid-19 patients. Daily press conference sessions were from government. The government throws food and delays bill payments for locals to try to keep the economy from imploding. Daily updates on new cases and deaths. The dead are denied wakes or funerals and barely anyone is allowed at the graveside. People are wearing masks and gloves outside. Essential key workers are terrified to go to work. Medical field workers are afraid to go home to their families. This is the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic, declared in Feb. 2020.
I will tell these stories to my kids. One day it will show up in my memory feed, and it will be a yearly reminder that life is precious and not to take the things we dearly love for granted.
